Pavillon Louvre Rivoli is a 3 star hotel in Paris.
Location: close to the Louvre, the Royal Palace gardens and the French Comedy Theatre. L'avenue de l'Opera will take you to the large shops and rue de Rivoli towards Les Halles. The closest metro station is "Palais Royal".
Our first room was not pleasant. The entire "etage" smelled of mold. Once settled in our room, we found that the carpet was wet. This may have been a leak from the air conditioning unit, but it was clearly an ongoing problem based on the pungent odor. The staff was apologetic and quick to move us to another room. The second room was much better--small but clean and quiet.
