This hotel is in an excellent location very close to the Metro (George V) and close to all the designer shops. The hotel itself is very clean and the staff are very helpful. We had a room on the sixth floor but the room was very small. The double bed is more like a big single so it was not that comfortable. It was difficult to walk past each other as it was that small. The decor is nice and the bathroom is well fitted but the shower went from hot to cold and vice versa very easily. The bar is not that well equipped and while they made me a sandwich during the day, food availability is poor. They only do breakfast which again is OK. All in all, it was a pleasant stay. While recommending the hotel, I would however spend extra and get a bigger room.

The Francois 1er was a warm, friendly home away from home.
We got a Skoosh deal of four nights for the price of three and the American breakfast included--which was great with two teenagers along. Our "standard" room was small but our children's room with two twin beds was actually a nice size. Lots of nice amenities, too.
We have stayed in many places in Paris and even lived there for two years. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

From check-in to departure, this hotel did not fail to impress us on our recent stay! The staff were exceptionally polite and helpful. The whole hotel is immaculately clean and tastefully decorated (loved the classical music and the library in the elevator!) Our room was outstanding and the maid service was exceptional. Our expectations were exceeded and we would highly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Paris. Tucked away on a quiet side street, yet 5 minutes walk from the hustle and bustle of the Champs Elysees and Arc de Triomphe! This truly was an oasis to return to after a day of taking in the sights of Paris in the height of summer - and we would most definitely stay here again ...

Our first impression was Wow! We arrived on a scorching hot day and the first thing they did was sit us down and bring iced water. The service continued at this level throughout our stay.
The room was perfect and the hotel's location is about 3 minutes from Champs Elysees and 15 minutes from the Eiffel Tower.
Room services were superb and although we didn't eat in the restaurant, we ordered coffee and tea for the room and it came with juice and warmm bread and pastries. Perfect.
Definitely recommended and we willr return.

We would heartily recommend this fine establishment to others looking for a great place to stay in Paris. It is very close to the George V metro stop, just 2 minutes from the Champ Elysees, even closer to Blvd George V. The breakfast ibuffet is outstanding. The rooms, though not spaciou by American standards, are tastefully appointed in classic style. The staff was very accomodating, especially the Hotel manager. You can't go wrong with Hotel Francois Premier!!! Our stay was in late July 09. The special price of one free night with breakfast and taxes included by staying three other nights was a good value for this boutique hotel's considerable quality. Our expectations were exceeded.

I would definetly recommend this hotel, excellant quality rooms, superbly furnished throughout & all major Pairs sites within walking distance - even the Airfrance coach drop off you may, like us, take to get to & from CDG airport Bar drinks were extremely expensive but do not be put off, drinks in street cafes are equally expensive Very good value for money The hotel exceeded my expectations

Having lived and worked in Paris, I had never heard of this hotel. Would absolutely recommend this hotel. Spotless rooms, incredible beds, extremely attentive housekeeping service. Best bellman in Paris--understands what hospitality really means.

Clean, lovely rooms, comfortable, warm & beautifully interior designed. The staff were so kind & friendly and particularly accommodating with last minute changes to the reservation. None of this French snobbery that many travellers fall victim too. They couldn't have been lovlier. Great location if you're up for walking Paris. Right near the Champs Elysees. Romantic for couples & best of all, such great value for money. This is definitely one to book and having scanned and read nearly every review in Trip Advisor, I in fact would rate this far higher than others that got better ratings! A little touch of luxury for a great price in Paris!...I will be staying there again without a doubt and would recommend to my family & best of friends.
