The hotel itself has a putting green, a fountain and vegetable garden and is a relaxing retreat. Opposite there is a woodland walk which leads to the River Spey. The lobby is large and traditional, but offers a spacious area for groups to check-in.
The rooms are comfortable, clean and decorated with traditional furnishings that are dated. Rooms vary in size due to the traditional style of the building but are generally of a fair condition. Rooms have different outlooks varying from beautiful highland views to internal views.
There is a main restaurant catering to groups and individuals, whilst the lounge bar offers a less formal environment for meals.
