Alghero is situated in the north west of Sardinia, in the centre of the western basin of the Mediterranean Sea, in an area of high geographical and historical value. The coastline that runs from Capo dell’Argentiera, in the north, to Torre Poglina, in the south, is also called the Coral Riviera, and is one of the most beautiful of the island. The Hotel dei Pini is situated in an ideal position, in the heart of the Coral Riviera, a few kilometres from Alghero. Area: The Hotel dei Pini rises in a reserved area next to the Parco Naturale di Porto Conte e Capo Caccia (Porto Conte Natural Park and the Cliffs of Capo Caccia), in the north west of Sardinia in what has become known as the Riviera del Corallo (Coral Riviera), seven kilometres from the town of Alghero and the international airport of Alghero-Fertilia. The Hotel is set between a private beach of fine white sand and a 30, 000 square metre wood of maritime pines and Mediterranean vegetation. This fortunate location allows you to enjoy an oasis of privacy and silence while at the same time providing the opportunity to avail of the natural attractions and archaeological sites of the area, the shops and the local nightlife. Recreation: Among the facilities are, the hotel bar, facing the panoramic terrace, and during the summer the beach bar, where you can sip a drink in the shade of the reed bed or enjoy the splendid view of the bay while the chef prepares your favourite dish. From the foyer, of excellent Spanish inspiration, and from the dining halls that surround it, both the rooms themselves and the suggestive colours will surprise you every hour of every day. The restaurant and breakfast rooms are characterised both by their large windows and the splendid panorama of the bay, creating a scene of unparalleled beauty during summer . A soft green lawn precedes direct access to the private beach, part of the most beautiful beach of both Alghero and the Coral Riviera: the renowned Bombarde beach. Water sport equipment can be hired on the beach enabling you to practice your sport of choice, while it is also possible to receive windsurfing and sailing lessons from the staff. A small gymnasium is available for use by the guests equipped directly in front of the beach and a park excursion. Internet access is available upon request at the Internet point in the hall and the synthetic tennis court can be booked day and night. Starting this coming summer season the Hotel dei Pini offers new facilities as an wellness corner with personalised treatments and massages. Mountain bikes and cars are available to rent, offering the chance to discover the fascinating inland territory of Sardinia with its rich traditions and history. We also offer a shuttle service to the charming centre of Alghero twice a day from June to September. Within the vicinity of the hotel it’s possible to go horse riding, water skiing or take a boat excursion. The fortunate position of the hotel, allows you to easily reach in just a few minutes the deep sea surrounding Capo Caccia and Punto Giglio, where one finds a large concentration of excellent diving locations, submerged caves and many cliffs on the sea. The diving in these caves is unique and extraordinarily beautiful: red coral can be seen in only 4 metres depth of water and one can easily encounter lobster, grouper and moray eels. If you would like to experience the sea at close quarters the hotel has a special collaboration with the Diving Centre of Capo Galera, which is situated a few minutes from the Hotel. The Activity Team will be delighted to entertain you with a series of shows, live music, sport and recreation activities from June to September. Parents can entrust their children (from 4 -12 years inclusive) to the Mini-Club, a place where they can meet and play with many other children under the watchful eye of the attentive staff. It is also possible to request a Baby-Club service (2 - 4 years).
The hospitality is available in 98 double, triple and quadruple rooms and 3 junior suite, recently renovated and redecorated with furniture of warm tones. Each room is equipped with a private bathroom, terrace, air conditioning, telephone line, SKY TV, minibar and safe. Every room has a sea or park view and as such it’s possible to enjoy the fantastic natural scenery into which the hotel is gracefully integrated.
